Curtin Hall at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee was the location for an architectural installation entitled “Aviary.” Ecological in theme, the artwork consists of silhouettes of common birds in flight, superimposed over colored maps of their winter range. The silhouettes allude to the placement of bird stickers upon windows in order to keep other birds from crashing into the glass.
