About Us |
Our current work involves print and multimedia site-specific installations
that are responsive to architectural and cultural settings. This work includes
large-scale outdoor murals and window installations that engage public view,
as well as more private, introspective interior pieces within institutional
venues.
We are interested in the non-sentimental depiction of nature - primarily animals and their traces - and seek to explore the boundaries between the "natural" and the technological. The act of collecting, visualizing and categorizing natural specimens is often the genesis of this work. Our collection serves as the data base for many of the projects we create. From cosmological maps and astronomy, radical enlargements of bacteria and parasites, to the flora and fauna of the suburban landscape, we explore issues of scale, representation, and the mapping of knowledge. |
